I've tried playing around with the sandbox options to give the easyanticheat.exe more permissions, etc. When I try to start the game with anti-cheat, the EasyAntiCheat window comes up and tries to load the service, but gets stuck and gives this error: "Loading Error: Insufficient user privileges to start EasyAntiCheat Service" The end of the text should now look like: EasyAntiCheatEOSSetup.exe' repair Double-click the shortcut. I am able to play offline single-player because the startup window is a prompt to start the game with or without their anti-cheat service (EasyAntiCheat), and the game works fine with the service disabled - but that means I can't join any servers that have it enabled (99%). Locate the EasyAntiCheatEOSSetup.exe file Right-click the file and select Create shortcut Right-click the shortcut and select Properties In the Target box, after the last quotation mark, type 'repair' without quotes. I have been running Steam sandboxed for a couple years now and have never had problems playing my games online and joining servers (TF2, The Forest, L4D2, etc), but I am unable to do so with 7 Days to Die.
